Hello ye who dare pass!

I haven't posted for forever but I have a topic that aroused my interest and decided to share it with you. Now, I will admit "you" is like...1 person, but!! I believe that this one person should know of this topic! LOL! This whole topic came up when I was chatting with a friend on MSN. This friend, one of those spoken about in the Those Kids o' Mine! post, is super random (in the best way) and likes to come up with just strange things to ask me out of the blue. For example, as I was talking to him the other day he asked how I felt about frogs.

A previous question was what my favorite thing about trees was. Nonetheless I love this side of him and answer the questions to the best of my ability! The question that I am referring to in this post is fairly simple. Well, at least I thought it was simple. I had to think about it to be honest. As I thought about it, the further I delved and the more energy I put into it I realized, holy crap, that's actually super difficult.

The question was simple, but the answer not much.

If you had one wish come true, just for one day, what would it be?


All of a sudden tens of thousands of things came into my mind one after another; as I'm sure they will for you. But before I could answer my friend said this: Would you prefer it to happen now? Or later in life?


My answer of course: NOW! Why not!! He, however, gave me something to think about. Wouldn't I be disappointed with the rest of my life after being so happy for that one day. That's when I really started to think about it. He was right but I realized that anything I could wish for, wouldn't make me happy for that one day. Most of my wishes (for when I find the magic lamp with the genie) are all long term. Like one of my wishes is to be fluent in, at least, 6 languages. Wouldn't be extremely beneficial for one day would it?

So after a long time wondering, with many minutes of humming and hawing I gave him my answer, which will probably annoy most of you. My answer was a simple:  I dunno lol (remember we were on MSN)

To this day I still don't have anything that I wish would happen for only a day. But I do have a question for all of you. My question is the same as his.
